Wines
Tórtola is the wine that represents our project. Giving value to what has always been here and should never have been lost. This wine is a reinterpretation of a classic blend from our region:
Cencibel, the so-called “tinto fino,” and Tinto Velasco, known as “tinto basto.” Together, these varieties create a perfect balance between freshness, character, and depth, demonstrating that
native varieties have a leading role in the future.

Vineyard in bush form, carefully tended over generations by my maternal grandmother’s family. In the “La Cuesta Blanca” area, this vineyard houses an ancient clone of Airén, unique in its expression, which has been in the same plot for generations. With grafted and ungrafted plants, the roots reach deep into poor soils, white in color due to high limestone content, providing exceptional minerality and complexity.

This white wine is a pure representation of our region, where the Airén variety takes the spotlight. Accompanied by Macabeo, it offers a perfect balance between lightness and character. In the old Airén vineyards, almost extinct white varieties like Gordalo and Pardilla can still be found, leaving their mark in the wine.

Made with Cencibel, this wine captures the essence of vineyards that have endured over time, but with a renewed profile that gives it a modern expression. The calcareous soils and contrasting climate create an undefined line, bringing freshness and versatility, making it an ideal option for any moment. A wine with character but accessible.

La Rebusca takes its name from an ancient tradition: collecting the grapes that remained after the harvest, forgotten on the vines. These grapes were gathered by those who did not own land,
typically the humble people of the villages, to make their own wine at home. This simple, meaningful act inspires a wine that honors the recovery and preservation of the essential.
In this modern version, La Rebusca is a singlevarietal wine of Tinto Fragoso, a unique and almost extinct variety that we have rescued to show its great potential. It is highly characteristic, with a very marked varietal profile. This rustic and resilient red grape is perfectly adapted to climate change, offering fresh, long-lived wines with structure and an unparalleled identity.
